What is Deichler’s Tires?
DEICHLER’S TIRE CENTER has been in the tire and service business for over 50 years!
Family-owned and operated, they have been serving Erie, Lorain, and Huron counties for three generations. Many patrons are second and third generation customers. In 1952, Charlie Deichler moved his family from Pennsylvania into a one-bay tire shop, selling gasoline and specializing in recap tires. Often, stranded motorists would come in the night with flat tires or empty gas tanks. Charlie never refused to help.
This is the level of service Deichler’s Tire Center still strives towards today. After 50 years of faithful service to the South Amherst area, our desire is to continue the proud tradition of extra special service, as we strive, not only to serve the customer, but obtain a life-long friend.
What Sets Us Apart?
Deichler’s Tire Center is pleased to offer an extensive list of brand name tires. Unlike other tire shops, Deichler’s “shops” for the customer and passes on the savings, insuring customers the lowest price possible on new tires. Plus, there are no hidden charges. While others may charge extra for mounting, balancing, new valve stems and road hazard warranties, the price of your new tires will include all that, plus free rotation every 6000 miles, for the life of your tires. Deichler’s also offers our customers one of the largest on-site “take-off” tire warehouses in the state. All used tires come with a lifetime guarantee against defects, an exclusive offer not found anywhere else.
Our Hunter GSP 8700 road-force wheel balancer, with its digital signal processor, “road tests” your wheels before they are on your vehicle, eliminating vibration problems related to tire uniformity, wheel run-out and virtually all other tire and rim-related problems. Many local auto dealers bring their “problems” to us to fix. Our Hunter Series 311 aligners are highly sophisticated, computerized wheel aligners that use electronic beams to align both back and front wheels.
Finally, and even more important than “state-of-the-art” equipment, is the honesty you will receive from Deichler’s. We believe trust is the most important commodity in today’s marketplace and with that in mind, we seek to do whatever is best for you, our customer.

Although originally birthed as a tire shop, over the years, Deichler’s Tire Center has expanded to become your full service, one-stop auto repair shop. Our mechanics have the expertise in a wide variety of services. With new computer technology and state-of-the art diagnostic equipment, we are able to offer our customers expert diagnosis and repair on just about any automotive problem.
